SEED held a conference dedicated to women entrepreneurs and women planning to launch business activity. The event took place on 19 November 2009 in Budapest. The programmes of the agenda served as an inspiration and encouragement to women, and according to the feed-back we got, this goal was successfully achieved. The programme was part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and it was the closing event of the MeXX training series run by SEED for 6 years. The most important facts and results of the MeXX-programme are summarized in the presentation of Anna Horváth (download), the manager of the project. The recent situation of the female entrepreneurs on the basis of SEED and other researches was presented by Anikó Soltész. (download) 130 participants of the conference were interviewed with the help of a mini-questionnaire and the results were compared to the nationwide scheme. We gladly realized that among SEED-clients there are much more of growing or at least solid and conscious enterprises than in general. This is another positive feed-back to our work showing the importance of the entrepreneurial education and skills development. At the end of the day we collected valuable ideas with the World Café method from women entrepreneurs. Download the the summary of data analysis from here (only in Hungarian)!
