Six workshops were organised accross the country for middle management of organisations and enterprises during September 2006. The topic was how to introduce gender mainstreaming at workplaces.
The events were part of a larger EU-funded project named "Creating Equal Opportunities in the New Member States: Hungarian Pilot Project" aiming to make men participate more actively in improving gender equality by contributing to work-life balance. The project was targeting the change of traditional thinking about gender roles based on the research made by SEED Foundation (See Executive Summary in English).
The workshops gave practical tools in the hand of middle managers in order to be able to promote gender mainstreaming at their workplaces.
